The Temple Of Harmony

On Sunday we had the absolute pleasure of visiting the ‘Temple Of Harmony’ in Goathurst. It was the most amazing experience, as we were able to go inside too. Belonging to Halswell House, the classical folly was built to show the immense status of the estate. Set in acers of beautiful landscaped grounds, the temple was based on the Roman ‘Temple Of Fortuna Virilis’, built in Rome (in the first century BC). Designed by the architect ‘Thomas Prowse’ (C 1708 - 1767), in the neo-classical style. It truly is a sight to behold. I went there to photograph the stunning architectural detail for reference for something special that I am designing…… keep popping back to see what that might be?

LAPLAND

#Saariselka, #Finland. Such a stunning landscape here, up in the Arctic Circle. These are some of the photographs that I took over the past couple of days here, depicting the beautiful winter wonderland where we're staying in Saariselka. Today we took an amazing 3 hour snowmobile trip through this awe inspiring landscape and it is something I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you so much to the guys @Top-Safari and Matt @Inghams Travel for making our trip so amazing. https://www.inghams.co.uk/

Sneak Peak On New Ceramic Designs

This is, hopefully, the first of many ceramic designs, that I intend to create. I can't wait to get stuck into working on more illustrations for a new collection of fine bone china ceramics. This first collection has been inspired by the sea, coast, and adventure. 'Up, Up & Away' takes the spirit of adventure to the high seas in beautiful hot air balloons, travelling the globe and meeting all manner of sea creatures along the way. More details on the new collection are to follow, so don't forget to check back to see the next instalment on the story!
